Banjo comes to Town @ Uxbridge Folk Club
For those of you living in or visiting the Heathrow Airport area why not enjoy an evening of Traditional British Folk Music at the Uxbridge Folk Club. This Thursday 9th February will see the young musical talent of Dan Walsh take to the stage to delight banjo enthusiasts and music lovers with his distinctive style and song.
Dan Walsh is an incredibly talented banjo player who has been receiving rave reviews. Touted as the finest banjo player in the UK, Dan Walsh is an eclectic and exciting musician with a unique style taking in folk, funk, bluegrass, jazz, rock and even Arabic. Also a singer and guitarist, he has performed throughout the UK at festivals, theatres and folk clubs including the Southbank Centre, the Sage Gateshead, Broadstairs, Sidmouth and Towersey folk festivals, Solfest and the Barbican.
Dan Walsh has performed live on BBC Radio 2 and received excellent reviews in the UK and US for his debut CD, 'Tomorrow's Still To Come' and for the long awaited debut album of Walsh and Pound, his duo with harmonica wizard, Will Pound.

Live Jazz @ The Stanwell Hotel
The Boutique Stanwell Hotel hosts Harri, a New York Jazz Vocalist who will be performing with some of the UK’s best jazz musicians on the second Friday of every month.
This coming Friday 10th February the line-up includes Max Britain on Guitar, Ken McCarthy on Keyboard and John Rees-Jones on Double Bass.

Rock and Roll @ The Concorde Club
For those of you living or visiting the Heathrow Airport area why not enjoy an evening of Rock and Roll at The Concorde Club. On Saturday 3rd March 2012, The Concorde Club is celebrating ‘The Elvis Years’. A tribute to the rock and roll star featuring his hits from 1954 through to 1977.
The performance directed by musical director David Mackay features Mario Kombou in an electrifying impersonation of the King of Rock and Roll. In 2005, in Memphis Tennessee, Mario Kombou was voted ‘images of the King World Champion’ with the King’s cousin, Donna Presley, declaring Mario Kombou “the best Elvis since Elvis”.
